The GroundWork Developer's Kit (GDK) provides you the tools necessary to develop and test extensions to GroundWork Monitor 6.0.

The GDK is a downloadable, installable package that includes:
- GroundWork Monitor Community Edition version 6.0
- Eclipse - An integrated development environment (IDE) that includes project files, and ICEFaces and Subclipse plugins
- Maven - Build Tool
- Ant - Apache Ant is a Java-based build tool.
- Documentation
- Source code necessary to rebuild the API, Framework, and portlet applications

The GDK can be installed on any of the following operating systems:
- Red Hat Linux 5: 32-bit, 64-bit
- Red Hat Linux 4: 32-bit, 64-bit
- CentOS 5: 32-bit, 64-bit
- CentOS 4: 32-bit
- SuSE Linux 10: 32-bit, 64-bit
- SuSE Linux 9: 32-bit
It is highly recommended that you have 4GB of memory and at least 100 GB of free disk space.
